Host-based encryption was requested through the RSA or the KEYPASSWORD keyword, and at least one output device will perform hardware encryption while at least one output device will not perform hardware encryption. To avoid doubly encrypting data, the system only uses the output devices that will perform hardware encryption. Refer to message ADR324E for the unused devices for output. The task continues if any applicable output devices exist.

If host-based encryption is required, separate the DUMP tasks into different jobs. These jobs contain output devices that will not be used in data encryption. Check the DATACLAS for the output DD definitions to ensure that they do not request the tape device to encrypt the data.
