Base Section

z/OS MVS Programming: JES Common Coupling Services

The base section is the same for all exits. It specifies:
  • Under which JES the exit was called
  • The version of the parameter list presented to the exit
  • The size of the base section
  • The total size of the parameter list
  • Optionally, a pointer to a data area created by IXZXIT03 during attach processing.
