Explanation
An error was detected in communications between RMF™ and the System Resources Manager
while attempting to initialize, collect, or reinitialize workload
activity measurements.

System action
All RMF measurement
collection is terminated. Reinstatement can be attempted and, if successful, RMF will continue under the control
of the original options.  If reinstatement fails, RMF is terminated. Register 15 contains the return
code from the System Resources Manager depending on the function attempted
by RMF: Byte

The system writes an ABEND dump for the failing
job step.

System programmer response

Obtain the SYSOUT output for
the job.
Obtain the ABEND dump for the failing job step.  If
the JCL for the step did not contain a DD statement for an ABEND dump,
add one of the following statements and run the job step again: SYSABEND DD statement
SYSMDUMP DD statement
SYSUDUMP DD statement

Use a SYSMDUMP DD statement if you plan to analyze and
format the dump with the interactive problem control system (IPCS).
Obtain
the logrec data set error record.
Search problem reporting data
bases for a fix for the problem. If no fix exists, contact the IBM® Support Center.
