Activating synchronous reserve processing (SYNCHRES) z/OS MVS Planning: Global Resource Serialization SA23-1389-00 |

The SYNCHRES parameter in GRSCNFxx indicates whether the system defined in the GRSCNFxx MATCHSYS parameter is to have synchronous reserve processing activated. The default is YES. See Understanding the synchronous RESERVE feature for more information.
