Window services can map windows in the same address space to multiple objects. The objects can be temporary objects, permanent objects, or a combination of temporary and permanent objects. In this example, one window provides a view of the second block of a temporary object, and a second window provides a view of the fourth and fifth blocks of a permanent object. Figure 1. Mapping
