You can also code an output destination using:
  • The OUTPUT JCL statement.
  • The JES2 /*OUTPUT and /*ROUTE control statements.
  • The JES3 //*MAIN, //*FORMAT PR, and //*FORMAT PU control statements.

Because DEST=(node,userid) cannot be coded on JES2 or JES3 control statements, you must code it, if needed, on a DD or OUTPUT JCL statement.
