The EP option allows you to specify an external name to be used as the entry point for the program. The EP option is overridden by the ENTRY control statement. You can specify up to 1024 characters for the name but the JCL PARM field is limited to 100 characters and an OPTIONS data set is limited to 80 characters per option, including the "EP=". Specify the EP option on the PARM statement as follows:
