You might want to separate allocations and spread them across multiple volumes to reduce I/O contention and improve performance. After analyzing your data, you might find that certain data may not need some of the advanced storage features in your environment. If you want to spread conventional allocations across volumes of
different features, use one or all of the following suggested parameter
settings in the assigned storage and data classes:
