Use the DFSMSrmm parmlib member EDGRMMxx OPTION RETAINBY or MOVEBY operands to retain or move volumes as a set or as individual volumes. The default setting is for DFSMSrmm to retain or move volumes as individual volumes. See the z/OS DFSMSrmm Implementation and Customization Guide for information about the DFSMSrmm parmlib member.
