Standard OAM message prefix

Four-digit message number

Action required

Decision needed

Eventual operator action required

Information only
Message_text
Text of the message.

The following is a sample of an OAM message:

CBR2601A  Specify shelf location for volume volser.
Note: In message text, italicized words indicate a value supplied by the system.
