Notes: - The logical file system will do translation when the mount
tag option is specified. It will do translation based on the
process tag (calling application) and file tag (if the file tag is
not zeros or untagged). Otherwise, the system will do translation
based on the process tag and mount tag for the
CCSID information.
- It is assumed that the user doing the mount knows the files being
accessed from the remote non-z/OS file systems. So the CCSID needs
to be set accordingly. Data written to the server will be stored in
a specific CCSID format. To read it back correctly, the correct CCSID
must be specified (for example, without it being translated with the
wrong CCSID).
