z/OS Network File System Guide and Reference

As of the writing of this publication, use of the following functions must be restricted because they have not been successfully tested on the listed systems:

  • Sun

    Sun NFS Server may fail to start if a Solaris 10 system was brought down with outstanding locks on a NFSv4 share. Patch 13463-01 for SunOS 5.10_x86 and Patch 139462-01 for SunOS 5.10 address this issue.

Note: This is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of remote platform restrictions.
