ISO/ANSI labels format

z/OS DFSMS Using Magnetic Tapes

The ISO/ANSI standard volume label is 80 bytes or longer and is always used to identify the tape volume and its owner. It is always the first record on ISO/ANSI standard labelled tape. It is recorded in ASCII.
