You can use the LIST TTOC command to list tape volumes that were encrypted through hardware encryption. To do so, enter the LIST TTOC command as follows:

LIST TTOC SELECT(ENCRYPTION) ODS(ttoc.out.dataset) 

You can also use the LIST TTOC command to list tape volumes that were not encrypted through hardware encryption. To do so, enter the LIST TTOC command as follows:

LIST TTOC SELECT(NOENCRYPTION) ODS(ttoc.out.dataset)
