The IDCUT1 and IDCUT2 DD statements describe the DSNAMES and a volume containing data space made available to BLDINDEX for defining and using two sort work data sets in the event an external sort is performed. The data space is not used by BLDINDEX if enough virtual storage is available to perform an internal sort.
