A 1-byte resident data-block count field

z/OS Security Server RACF System Programmer's Guide
SA23-2287-00

The resident data-block count field specifies the maximum number of index, block-availability-mask (BAM), and profile blocks to be kept resident for the primary data set while the database is active. In addition, if RACF is enabled for sysplex communication, RACF® uses 20% of this number as the number of resident blocks for the backup data set. See Selecting the number of resident data blocks.
