Because the started procedures table in Example 4 contains a generic entry but the generic entry is not the last entry in the table, RACF® issues an error message during RACF initialization and ignores the generic entry whenever it searches the table. If RACF searched the started procedures table in Example 4 for the procedure name PROC2, it would not find a specific match. RACF would associate with PROC2 the default user ID asterisk (*) and the default group name asterisk (*). If RACF searched the started procedures table in Example 4 for PROC1, it would find a specific match and associate PROC1 with user ID TSO1 and group SYS1. |
