Calculating the number of BAM blocks

z/OS Security Server RACF System Programmer's Guide

Use the formula that is shown in Figure 1 to calculate the number of BAM blocks required. Use the result as the value of C in Formula for the RACF database size. One BAM block is required for every 2038 blocks in the RACF® data set.

Note: Round C up to a whole number.
