This installation exit routine runs under the POSTSCAN DSP or the CI DSP in either the JES3 global address space or a C/I FSS address space. If you implement this exit to run in a C/I FSS address space, be aware that not all JES3 services and tables are available in the C/I FSS address space. For information about services available in a C/I FSS address space see Table 1.

This exit is called in 31-bit addressing mode. The entry point in register 15 is a 31-bit address.
