z/OS JES2 Initialization and Tuning Guide
SA32-0991-00

Use of SSL and TLS by NJE/TCP is through Application Transparent-Transport Layer Security (AT-TLS). All of the SSL/TLS definitions are defined in the TCP/IP and security profiles, rather than in JES2 parameter statements. The only definition required in JES2 is SECURE=YES on the appropriate SOCKET(xxxxxxxx) statements as discussed in NETSRV security considerations.

To exploit this functionality, you need to code the TCPCONFIG TTLS parameter in your TCP/IP configuration, and issue RACF® commands to configure AT-TLS. For more information, see z/OS Communications Server: IP Configuration Guide.
