Your installation can place checkpoint data set(s) (primary or secondary) on a coupling facility structure, a DASD volume, or a combination of these locations. DASD used to hold checkpoint data sets can be all the same device type and model or any combination of JES2-supported (see IBM devices supported by JES2 and how to use them) device types and models.
