Specify the location of the Advisor on the advisor_id statement.
This statement contains an IP address and port that the Advisor uses
to listen for connections from Agents in the sysplex.
Guideline: Use a dynamic VIPA for this
address, to enable the Advisor to be moved within the sysplex in the
event of a failure of the Advisor or the Advisor's underlying system.
Rules: - The port specified on the advisor_id statement must match the
port specified on the Advisor's agent_connection_port statement.
- If an IPv4 address is specified on the advisor_id statement, an
IPv4 address must be specified on the host_connection statement. Similarly,
if an IPv6 address is specified on the advisor_id statement, an IPv6
address must be specified on the host_connection statement.
