Express® Logon Feature (ELF) is an enhanced logon solution that is provided by IBM® host access products Host on Demand (HoD) and Personal Communications. ELF is also referred to as certificate-based logon. ELF enables you to log on to host applications using an X.509 certificate for authentication.
