GDDM application limitations

z/OS Communications Server: IP User's Guide and Commands

When GDDMXD/MVS is inactive, there are no GDDM® application restrictions. The following types of functions are not supported by GDDMXD/MVS:
  • Multiple instances of the GDDM application
  • Opening multiple display devices at one time
  • Operator windows
