PurposeUse the STARTTLS command to tell the SMTP application to negotiate the use of TLS. Requirement: You must issue an EHLO
command before you can issue the STARTTLS command. If you issue the
STARTTLS command, it must be issued before you can issue the MAIL
FROM command.
When STARTTLS is specified, the scope of the security attribute is set for the mail messages that follow in the JES spool file until another HELO or EHLO SMTP command is issued.
