The FINISHOPEN statement specifies the number of seconds SMTP waits while trying to establish a connection to a remote site. After the specified number of seconds, SMTP ends the connection. The parameter for this statement must be between 1 and 86 400 seconds. The default value for this statement is 120 seconds.
