REMOTEPORT for SMTP client : RemotePort

Explanation

The REMOTEPORT statement is optional in the SMTP configuration file. If this statement is not coded, then the default value is used by the SMTP client. If this statement is not coded, then the default value (25, which is the well-known port for mail) is used by the SMTP client.

In the message text:
RemotePort
A decimal value in the range 1 - 65534.

EZA5139I Port for Server SMTP           : 25           
EZA5191I REMOTEPORT for SMTP client     : 2000

In this example, the SMTP client will send mail to port 2000 and the local SMTP server will listen on port 25.
