could have been specified in the parameter or it could have been automatically
detected.

X will be 2 on JES2 or 3 on JES3 systems.

Y will be: 
Automatic Specification if JES=x was not
specified in the parameters.
Parameter Specification if JES=x was specified
in the parameters.
