broadcast: ioctl (get interface configuration) ExplanationThe procedure getbroadcastnets(), which gets the address of a network to broadcast a remote procedure, was unsuccessful because of a negative return code received from the ioctl() system call. The ioctl() call controls the operating characteristics of sockets. System actionProcessing continues. Operator responseNo action is needed. System programmer responseCheck for the correct entries declared in the s, cmd, and arg parameters of the ioctl() system call and the parameters of the clnt_broadcast() call, check that the network interface configuration is defined in an ifconf structure of the IF.H data set, and restart the program.
