LOST STATISTICS FOR PROGRAM = program VERSION = version PROC = proc ExplanationThe rpcbind server received a request to pass a call to another server on the rpcbind host. The rpcbind server processed the request and tried to save statistics about the call. However, the rpcbind server was not able to save the statistics for that call. If you use the rpcinfo utility from another host to query the rpcbind server statistics, the statistics reported will not include the program (program), version (version), or procedure (proc) information about this call. Likewise, if a program sends an RPCBPROC_GETSTAT request to the rpcbind server, the statistics reported will not include the program (program), version (version), or procedure (proc) information about this call. In the message text:
System actionProcessing of the request completes. Statistics regarding the call are not saved. Operator responseSave the system log for problem determination and contact the system programmer. System programmer responseObtain the system log and contact the IBM® Support Center. The rpcbind start option, -s, allows you to specify the number of statistics entries per binding protocol that the rpcbind server will maintain. Specifying a larger value for the -s option when starting rpcbind prevents the loss of statistics. See the information about starting the rpcbind address space in z/OS Communications Server: IP Configuration Guide for more information about the -s parameter. For more information about the RPCBPROC_GETSTAT request and about statistics regarding rpcbind calls to other servers, see RFC 1833. See Related protocol specifications for information about accessing RFCs. User responseNot applicable. Problem determinationNot applicable.
