If the stack is using policy-based routing, the RouteTable statement in the policy configuration can be used to disable multipath support for a policy-based route table or to enable a different type of multipath support for a policy-based route table. In general, multipath routing provides the routing distribution that is required to balance the network use of outbound packets. Multipath routing requires that multiple equal-cost routes be defined. These routes are either defined statically or added dynamically by routing protocols. If MULTIPATH is specified without any subparameters, the default is PERCONNECTION. System actionTCP/IP continues.
