This message is written to the client as well as the syslog file.
An attempt was made to identify ttys for the child process.  An associated
tty could not be obtained.

Wait until some network ports are available.

System programmer response
Ensure that you have enough /dev/ptypXXXX and /dev/ttypXXXX for
the number of users accessing your system. Examine the ports in use
and ensure that none of them are zombies. Eliminate any zombies if
found to free up some more ports.
