There may be times when you do not want to receive the SYSMODs from a service tape, but you do want to receive the HOLDDATA. Because the HOLDDATA provides information about SYSMODs requiring special handling or that are in error, it is important for you to receive the HOLDDATA into SMP/E's storage repository as soon as possible. The following commands process only the HOLDDATA:

   SET      BDY(GLOBAL).
   RECEIVE  HOLDDATA.

By issuing these commands, you direct SMP/E to receive only the HOLDDATA from the service tape into the global zone.
