A channel path type CIB is defined for coupling over InfiniBand, where a peer coupling link is emulated on a host communication adapter (HCA). When defining or changing a CIB channel path, HCM prompts you with a dialog which asks for the specification of the Adapter ID of the HCA and the Port on the HCA of that channel path.
