Starting with z/OS® V2R1,
you can use the z/OS Font Collection
base element of z/OS. The z/OS Font Collection is an exclusive
base element that includes the Chinese, Japanese, and Korean (CJK)
double-byte fonts.
Table 1 summarizes
the existing font programs and whether the z/OS Font Collection base element can replace
them along with the replacement name in the collection:
