Service information

Figure 1 shows an extract of the services file. You can copy the sample service information from /usr/lpp/tcpip/samples/services into your tcpip.ETC.SERVICES data set or /etc/services file. See z/OS Communications Server: IP Configuration Reference for more information about the syntax rules for /etc/services and ETC.SERVICES.
