Symbolic link restrictions z/OS UNIX System Services Planning GA32-0884-00 |
|
When using security labels, z/OS UNIX restricts the use of certain character strings within symbolic links to allow for dynamic substitution of a user's security label within a path name. The character strings '$SYSSECA/' and '$SYSSECR/' have special meaning to z/OS UNIX when they appear as the first nine characters in a symbolic link. For more information about the use of these strings, read about assigning a home directory and initial program, depending on security label in z/OS Planning for Multilevel Security and the Common Criteria . |
