System Display and Search Facility (SDSF) is an IBM-licensed program that provides a menu-driven full-screen interface that is used to obtained detailed information about jobs and resources in a system. Shell users can enter TSO/E sessions and use SDSF to monitor z/OS® activities. For example, they can:
  • Monitor printing
  • Monitor and control a batch job
  • Monitor and control forked address spaces
  • Find out which users are logged on to TSO/E sessions
