Using a system that does not have UNIT=SYSDA

If the system is not configured with an esoteric unit SYSDA, or some other esoteric unit is to be used for VIO temporary unnamed work data sets set by c89, the _C89_WORK_UNIT=SYSDA environment variable must be set. Specifying a null value for this variable ("") results in c89 using an installation-defined default for the UNIT. The environment variable is shown being set to the default value:
