Description
uptime gives
a one-line display of the following information:
- The current time
- How long the system has been running
- Number of users who are currently logged into z/OS® UNIX and the system load averages
for the past 1, 5, and 15 minutes. Load averages are not supported
on z/OS UNIX, and
are displayed as 0.00
Files
uptime uses
the following file:
- /etc/utmpx
- The current login status file.

uptime uses
the following localization environment variables:
- LANG
- LC_ALL
- LC_CTYPE
- LC_MESSAGES
- NLSPATH
