The tasks for controlling automatic space management of SMS-managed storage require that you add DFSMShsm commands to the ARCCMDxx member and that you specify attributes in the SMS storage groups and management classes. It is assumed that you have already defined the storage groups and management classes. The descriptions within this document are of attributes that you need to add to the previously defined storage groups and management classes. Similarly, the descriptions of DFSMShsm commands relate to commands to be added to the ARCCMDxx member of SYS1.PARMLIB.
