Explanation: UNAVAILABLE is an optional subparameter
of SELECT specifying a list of each dump volume that has had its contents
invalidated, but was not eligible to be automatically reused. The
following information is listed for each dump volume:
- Dump volume serial number
- Unit type
- Dump class
Defaults: None.
Note: - If DUMPCLASS(class) is also specified in the set of SELECT
options, only dump volumes assigned to the specified class are
listed.
- The UNAVAILABLE subparameter of the SELECT parameter is relevant
when volser is not specified with the DUMPVOLUME parameter.
The UNAVAILABLE subparameter can be used in combination with the subparameters
AVAILABLE, DUMPCLASS, EXPIRED, NORETENTIONLIMIT, or UNEXPIRED to get
a list of volumes that satisfy all the selection criteria.
