EXTENDRC is an optional parameter that specifies that DFSMShsm return an extended set of return and reason codes while you are running DFSMShsm commands in a truly interactive mode (TSO or foreground). This option returns only the return and reason codes that are mapped into DFSMShsm messages that are issued to the user’s terminal.
