Using RESET or UNCATALOG in a logical data set dump (PN60114) z/OS DFSMSdss Storage Administration SC23-6868-01 |

For a logical data set dump operation, use of the RESET or UNCATALOG keyword causes the enqueue on a data set to be held until all data sets are dumped. DFSMSdss does not reset the data-set-changed indicator or uncatalog the data set until after all data sets are dumped. This function is affected by setting the flag at offset X'1E' in
ADRPATCH. The settings are listed below:
