To enable integration, you must perform some configuration
tasks related to system properties, JMS queues, and cron tasks.
Configuring JMS queues
JMS queues are configured on the application server. JMS
queue configuration can be automatic or manual on the WebSphere® Application Server. JMS queue configuration is always a manual procedure
on the WebLogic
Server.
Configuring integration properties
Before you enable the integration framework, modify the
default settings for integration properties to settings that are appropriate
to your environment.
Activating the cron task for JMS queues
For asynchronous processing, integration messages are placed
in JMS queues. Cron tasks poll the JMS queues at frequent intervals
and then process messages that are found in the queues.
Exporting data to a test file
To validate that outbound processing is correctly configured
and enabled, run a test export.
