Microsoft SQL Server must
be configured using specific options before you can use it with Maximo® Asset
Management.
Ensure you have the following options set for the
Microsoft SQL Server database
you intend to use with
Maximo Asset
Management. These
settings must be configured before you use the
Maximo Asset
Management configuration
program to configure
Maximo Asset
Management.
- Use the SQL Server Configuration Manager to disable TCP/IP dynamic
ports usage on the server.
- Verify that you enabled the Full-text Search setting during the
installation of Microsoft SQL Server.
- Set Microsoft SQL Server Database
Collation settings to the following options:
- Dictionary order
- Case-insensitive
- For use with 1252 Character set
