Recent releases of Maximo® Asset Management focus on improving supply chain management, lowering the cost of implementation and ownership to increase return on investment, and enhancing user interaction. Recent releases include the releases from 7.5 to 7.6, and included enhancements are from versions 7.5, 7.5.0.1, 7.5.0.3, and 7.5.0.5.

A new tool is available to upgrade from a previous version. The installation guide is now streamlined.

Maximo Asset Management now complies with accessibility guidelines so that users with physical disabilities, such as restricted mobility or limited vision, can use the product successfully.

The new Inventory Usage application streamlines the issue and transfer process. Support is also provided for workflow of issues and transfers, staged and shipped items, multiple assets, and source bins per line. Costing methods are also improved with increased flexibility in ordering and reserving items.
New in work and asset management in Maximo Asset Management 7.5
Workflows are streamlined with enhancements to better enable tracking of work orders and management of job plans. You can also generate forecasts for preventive maintenance records.
New in service management in Maximo Asset Management 7.5
You use service groups to define all the services that you provide or procure. You can use escalations to manage and meet the commitments in service level agreements.
New in integration with external applications in Maximo Asset Management 7.5
Increased flexibility of integrating with external applications reduces the amount of configuration tasks that are required. In addition, support for integration messages is expanded and improved.
