Configuring QoS settings on the Sametime web client
Configure QoS (quality of service) settings on the IBM® Sametime® web client by editing the preferences.ini file that is installed with the WebPlayer plug-in.

For Microsoft Windows, the Sametime client uses the Windows Audio/Video QoS type; the corresponding DSCP type is 0x28. For details, see the Windows documentation on the QOS_TRAFFIC_TYPE enumeration.
Procedure
You can update the preferences.ini and push it to clients as described in Pushing updates to installed clients automatically, or you can update clients directly on user workstations as explained in the following steps.
