To configure preferences for clients running the Sametime Embedded Client for Notes, you can use the Domino® Desktop policy settings document. - Sametime client preferences
This section lists the preferences that can be managed for the IBM Sametime Connect Client and Sametime Embedded Client for Notes. - Integrating Notes Contacts with the Sametime phonebook
Users of IBM Sametime Unified Telephony can integrate IBM Notes contacts with their Sametime phonebook. The Notes Contact and Sametime Phonebook Synchronization plug-in provides automatic synchronization between a user's Notes contacts and the Sametime contact storage. When this feature is enabled, any contact in Notes with a specified phone number is treated as if they are entered in the Sametime phonebook. The contact's name appears in a call window, instead of just their number appearing there. The contact's number can be found quickly in Sametime and a passcode can be associated with the number and dialed by SUT.
