Exchanging certificates between the Conference Manager and the Video Manager

If your IBM® Sametime® deployment includes both a Conference Manager and a Sametime Video Manager Server, configure trust between the two servers by exchanging their SSL certificates. Exchanging SSL certificates between the Conference Manager and the Video Manager is a mandatory.

  1. Import the Video Manager's certificate to the Conference Manager
    On the computer hosting the Conference Manager, import the SSL certificate from the Sametime Video Manager.
  2. Import the Conference Manager's certificate to the Video Manager
    On the computer hosting the Sametime Video Manager, retrieve the SSL certificate from the Conference Manager and import it into the Video Manager.
